I'm getting a '360 for Christmas, ftw. Advise me on some great games (please)

Yes, I won't be playing Call of Duty since I've got it on PC. I've never played a Fable game.

You might like:

-Fallout 3
-Fallout: New Vegas
-Dragon Age: Origins (there is an expansion called Dragon Age Awakening-- but I wouldn't get that without playing Origins. Not sure you can)
-Enslaved

as well. Depends on the types of games you like to play. I think Dragon Age is the closest to a WoW type game...RPGish anyway. Fallout 3 & New Vegas (you can get New Vegas instead of Fallout 3 but I personally liked Fallout 3 a lot and wouldn't miss it).

If you like games that you can play with real friends or with real players, you can try Left 4 Dead or maybe Left 4 Dead 2 (though I haven't played that one).

360 is great

Oblivion was fun Never made it through it...and I'd have to start all over again to remember where I am- but it was fun.

Heh. I've never even played any Elder Scrolls. I haven't played Fallout 3 yet (and I'm getting New Vegas on PC)

I hope you enjoy whatever games that you pick up for it I haven't been able to pick up where I left off in New Vegas in a bit of time now- a lot of things on my plate, but I sure do miss it. Have fun!

Thanks. I have it now, and one game. Modern Warfare, the original. It's old but it's cheap. I'm going to buy Halo: Reach once I get a new television, mine's awful.

I've never played those, personally. Not my type of games - but I've heard many people like them so I'm sure you won't go wrong
